Another exciting thing that happened this week....Ari rolled over from tummy to back. She hasn't really ever come close to doing this before but she has been learning new things and so I was thinking in my head "I wonder when they start to roll over" so I put her on the bed on her stomach and a few seconds later, walah, she was on her back. Mommy was making such a big deal about it, I think she thought I was crazy. I put her back on her stomach to make sure it wasn't just a fluke and she did it again. So then I called to Seth to come see and I put her on her stomach again and she did it again. What a cooperative baby!
She is also learning to reach out and grab things. She doesn't quite have this mastered yet, she definitely knows what she wants to do, but we are still working on the coordination of it all. It is a fun game to play with her.
Now on to the sad news....the car died on Sunday. I think officially. We were driving home from church, everything seemed to be going well then a warning light came on (it has been coming on and off for awhile now) and then it started driving weird, more warnings lights, we just kept driving because I had a bad feeling if I stopped then we weren't going anywhere. We got to the hill to drive up to get into our garage and it wouldn't go up the hill so Seth had to get out and help push it up the little hill. We basically rolled it into our stall and it died. It wouldn't start again after that. On Monday it had a diagnosis and it is probably at least the alternator if not more. It will turn on but won't keep running. :( Such a sad day. I am not ready to part with my car. We currently have 252,000 miles on it so I guess she has been good for us.
So that leads to our other news....we bought a car! Talk about stressful. I had flashbacks of when I was like 8 years old and I had to spend $10 of my own to buy this kitten stuffed animal and I had such buyers remorse, I cried when I parted with my hard-saved money. Buying a car I had similar feelings, luckily I didn't cry at the dealership. Seth had about enough of me because I couldn't make up my mind and I didn't want to spend it. We have been looking at getting a second car but never did because I just couldn't do it. But we got desperate because we need something to get us around, so I just had to do it. It is a great car, I am excited, but I try not to analyze it too much or I start to think I did the wrong thing and that drives Seth nuts. So if you think I made a dumb choice, please do not tell me. :) I already have issues....haha. Buying a home is going to be a doosie for me. Hopefully I don't have to be homeless first to make me buy a home.
Lastly Seth had a birthday and we went out to eat at this fancy italian restaurant because I had received a gift card to go there. We dressed up and got a babysitter and had a great time. The food was fantastic. I felt a little out of place though, I felt like it was obvious we didn't belong there, like we were kids playing dress-up or something. Maybe it wasn't obvious and I was just self-conscious or something. Who knows, but the food was really good.

The story about the car is SO you. I love it! I only wish I had a harder time parting with my money.
