LAKE POWELL!! I know you are all jealous. It is my favorite place on earth. There are so many things that I love about Lake Powell. One being the stars at night are absolutely amazing, the brightest I have ever seen. I love sleeping out under the stars! I also love the feeling of a good run on the wakeboard or on the ski. I also love spending the time with my family. There are always lots of laughs and good times. It is also just so relaxing and so peaceful, a great escape from the normal routine of life. It is just a beautiful place with the blue water and the rock formations. Seth was nice and missed two days of classes so that we could go. We made sure that it wouldn't be a big deal for him to miss, which it wasn't. And it was well worth it!!
Seth did all the work on our new blog look. He just sat down and figured out how to get a different background and how to make the slide show work. He is good at figuring out how to do things. So I give him all the credit for the cute additions.
We celebrated our 1-year anniversary last weekend. We stayed at the Anniversary Inn in Salt Lake and it was really fun. We ate some of our frozen cake from our reception, just enough to say that we ate some... It wasn't too great. This is our cake still frozen in tin foil.
We also got to go and visit my twin sister Becky (close enough, right?) and see her cute little addition to her family. His name is Tucker and he is a the cutest little baby. He keeps Becky super busy and up all night, but you can tell that she does such a good job with him. He knows his Mommy! We had a really good visit and it was fun to see their new apartment. I wish we lived closer to each other!

I'm super jealous that you got to go to Lake Powell. Some of the greatest memories of my life will be the time I spent with the McArthur family on the houseboat in Lake Powell. It seriously felt like heaven out there. Anyways--I'm glad you and Seth made it out to see my little stink butt. I was impressed by how natural Seth is around babies--you will both be such amazing parents when the time comes, and yes, you will always be my "twin" sister--maybe not blood sister, but more like a sister I got to personally hand pick :) Love ya!
oh--and by the way--HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!! You two are a match made in heaven--congrats on one year!
p.s. Love the new layout too--Great job Seth!
Yeah for Lake Powell! We are going out this weekend. How was the water temp? Remember that time we went out together. I remember so many good chats with you.
I can't believe you have been married a year! Where has the time gone. Now you get the fun questions about when are you having a baby? I won't bug you though, I promise.
I can't believe it's been a year since you were married!!! It goes fast doesn't it. Glad you still like each other after a year :)
